Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required and four years related work experience. Additional experience may be used on a one to one basis to off set the educational requirement. Grade 6 (Salary).
Position Description:
Provide data analytic and program support for the School of Nursing (SON) Office of Student Services, including student retention and enrollment data management, database implementation and administration, admissions processes, communications, scholarship administration, compliance, and administrative and academic support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage UofL Institutional Research data related to student enrollment, retention, and completion data for regulatory and accreditation reporting. Validate graduates' course and clinical hours for Kentucky and out-of-state licensure.
- Input and manage university course schedules and academic catalogs updates. Maintain university and School of Nursing software for undergraduate and graduate student enrollment and progression.
- Prepare documentation for students petitioning for academic variances.
- Manage prospective and current students' inquiries. Make referrals when appropriate; follow-up on all inquiries until completed/resolved.
- Maintain currency of internal and external scholarship web portals. Receive, track, and collate data for SON scholarship applications; serve on the SON Scholarship Committees. Process all awards with SON Director of Finance and university Financial Aid Office.
- Maintain electronic files for prospective, current, and former students. Validate graduates' program completion on Kentucky Board of Nursing licensure application portals.
- Plan and execute SON events (e.g., open houses, high school student visits, SON transitions, convocation, white coat, hooding, and graduation ceremonies, student orientations), some of which may occur outside traditional business hours.
- Other duties as needed.
- Proficient in MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Ability to manage internal and external database software.
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education student services environment.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$77,600.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$51,700.00
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
