General Summary / Overview Statement:
Under the general supervision of the Director of IT, this position will gather and interpret data from a variety of sources (e.g., the electronic health record, billing claims, cost reports, and patient satisfaction surveys, patient population reports etc.) to help Compass Medical improve patient satisfaction and their overall healthcare.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
- Creation, production and analysis of ad hoc and standard reports.
- Generate automated reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) including productivity reporting and dashboard views.
- Create and maintain eBO reports for business needs.
- Build a Standard suite of Reports for Internal and/or external customers.
- Subject matter in Health Management Programs and Process Improvement
- Responsible for loading, validating and documenting, as well cleaning large and complex health care data sets, creating analytical data files, and running statistical analyses
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HIPAA.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or another related field is preferred.
- 2 or more years of current/recent related experience within a healthcare practice environment within an IT department/group or within business management, healthcare administration.
- Demonstrated experience with MS SQL is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data management and information systems. ?
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical billing and coding preferable.
- Proficiency in Office 365 programs, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint and other database management software.
- Experience with Healthcare Informatics.

Working Conditions:
- Possible intermittent physical activity, including walking, standing, and sitting.
- This is a sedentary position and may require extended periods of time at a work station using a keyboard and mouse possibly causing repetitive-motion medical related conditions.
