Job description

5th World is looking for a talented and passionate DAO Community Manager to join our crypto team on a part-time and/or full-time basis. As a DAO Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and managing our decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) community. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and grow our community, fostering meaningful interactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all members.
In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to organize and execute community events, manage communication channels, and create content that educates and inspires our community members. You will also be responsible for monitoring community feedback, addressing concerns and suggestions, and actively building relationships with our community members.

Responsibilities:
General

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive community engagement and growth
  • Organize and execute community events, both online and offline
  • Proactively engage with community members, addressing inquiries, concerns, and suggestions
  • Create and curate written and visual content that educates, inspires, and empowers the community
  • Monitor and analyze community feedback and sentiment
  • Identify and collaborate with key community influencers
  • Build and foster relationships with community members and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and DAO governance

Moderation
  • Facilitate, monitor and moderate community discussions across Twitter and Discord to ensure they align with our DAO's core values and mission.
  • Support community members through a funnel from top-level Twitter engagement to public discord discussions to formal DAO membership application.
  • Actively curate our DAO membership application process, supporting the most active and aligned community members to apply for membership.
  • Support new DAO members to onboard into the DAO.
  • Respond to queries and concerns from community members (both DAO members and non DAO members) in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Facilitate healthy and constructive conversations within the community across multiple social media platforms.
  • Coordinate chat based AMAs (Ask Me Anything) to boost community engagement.
  • Participate in community calls.

Social Media Management:
  • Execute our Twitter and Discord community engagement strategy in a way that aligns with the DAO's values, voice and tone.
  • Engage in relevant conversations on Twitter.
  • Post relevant content to Twitter, and respond to likes and replies, while adapting to the unique style and audience of each platform.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Community Manager, preferably in the blockchain/crypto space
  • Prior experience working with decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs)
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralized communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Passion for sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and community building
  • Experience with social media management and content creation
  • Knowledge of online community platforms and tools
  • Basic understanding of DAO governance principles and methods
  • Experience of organizing community events, both online and offline.
  • Adept at using relevant discord and twitter analytics/ community management tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, decentralized and dynamic environment
