Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes according to customer requests and specifications
- Create visually appealing designs using various techniques and tools
- Prepare cake batters, fillings, and frostings
- Bake cakes and ensure they are properly cooked and cooled
- Package finished cakes for display or delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selection and answering their questions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food handling, cooking, or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Culinary or pastry training is a plus
- Ability to use various decorating tools such as piping bags, spatulas, and knives
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
