Dairy Filler Operator (Ultra Pasteurized) Night Shift

Darigold is looking for a Dairy Filler Operator (Ultra Pasteurized) at our Boise Plant. The hours are 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. Starting pay is $21.86 and this position is eligible for a $1.50 Night Shift differential during approved hours. Base pay rate starts at $21.86, after 6 months is $23.03 and after 12 months is $24.21 upon satisfactory performance reviews.
What You Will Do (other duties as assigned):

• Operates Two Lane Modern Filler and jobs associated with production. (Y tank CIPs, Setup)
• Ensure the machine runs at posted speeds for size and efficiency at all times
• Ability to hit targets, delivering increased output figures
• Check product to insure correct code date and label identification
• Documents all production data clearly and accurately
• Keep supervision and maintenance informed of any mechanical issues.
• Monitor and ensure product quality, and maintain the product in specifications
• Responsible for maintaining and assisting in minimizing losses of packaging materials and other materials used in this job function.
• Inspect the equipment prior to setting up for production, during production, during CIP and report possible mechanical deficiencies.
• Must be able to complete all QA checks and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to work with required sanitation chemicals
• Ability to utilize professional methods of communication within the Culture department to create a positive environment
• Completes PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned
• Follows all procedures in the cleanup process including GMP's
• Follow and comply with Safety and quality assurance practices
• Supports coworkers running other culture machines as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leads/supervisors/managers

• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Ability to conduct business in a manner consistent with Darigold mission, values, policies and Code of Conduct.

Nice To Have's:

• Food background preferred, specifically dairy
• Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas, within consumer products preferred
