Role Summary
The Cycle Counter is expected to work closely with the materials team (Analyst, Planners, Schedulers) to analyze inventory discrepancies and conduct scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cycle count of materials as directed or as scheduled.
- Perform counts accurately and efficiently.
- Search additional likely locations when a loss has been identified.
- Help in defining root cause for inaccuracies.
- Review Inventory movements for proper transactions in SAP.
- Assist with cycle adjustments in the SAP System as directed.
- Assist in completing necessary paperwork as directed.
- Communicate inventory errors to the materials team.
- Operate forklift as needed to validate inventory.
- Conduct all activities in a safe manner.
- Know and understand Bowling Green Metalforming Quality and Environmental policies.
- Perform other duties as required.

Key Qualifications/Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Previous automotive experience material receiving, handling and cycle counting a plus
High school diploma or GED
Experience using SAP a plus
Certified BGM Tow Motor Driver or ability to successfully obtain BGM Tow Motor license is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Operate standard office equipment
