CLARK Material Handling Company, is a 100 year old company, and a global  leader in the material handling and forklift industry. CLARK is seeking qualified candidates to join our team.

This position will be responsible for receiving, put away and cycle counting for Production.  Will be responsible for processing orders/parts to be shipped to various locations.  Will oversee all inbound shipments of material. Will be responsible to count all incoming parts to ensure accuracy before entered the system. Will be responsible for all cycle counting functions.  Must possess the ability to create an environment to maintain a high degree of inventory accuracy including all material receipt issues and audits. Familiar with stock keeping, inventory control, shipping, receiving and general inventory concept practices and procedures. Performs a variety of inventory tasks.

 Essential Functions:

  1. Manage all cycle counting, receiving, and put away functions.
  2. Maintain proper documentation for various functions
  3. Monitor incoming and outgoing material and packaging and trouble-shoot problems
  4. Perform research of inventory discrepancies, determine cause & initiate corrective actions
  5. Successfully manage various inventory projects as assigned.
  6. Complete daily reports and analysis as required.  
  7. Maintain organization and orderliness in work area.
  8. Responsible for restocking line side bins as needed
  9. Support all company policies, including, safety, housekeeping, and work performance
  10. Ensure equipment is safe and safely operated
  11. Attend scheduled training classes
  12. Perform physical inventory as needed.
  13. Participate as a team member in work, meetings, and other functions such as transferring information to others, improving working relationships with co-workers, contributing to team success.
  14. Support Company policies and demonstrate concern for the success of the business. Show effective concern for the quality of all output and the needs, concerns, and priorities of all customers, both internal and external.
  15. Responsible for meeting all safety requirements and policies and maintain a safe work environment
  16. Participate in the 5s program and maintain a neat, organized, and safe work area
  17. Participate in continuous improvement activities and initiatives

 

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Education or GED
  • At least one year of work experience in a warehouse, shipping & receiving or cycle counting position with bar coding experience
  • Strong knowledge of, Warehousing, receiving, packaging, picking, packing, order consolidation, shipping, and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.
  • Efficient data entry and computer skills. Must be able to create excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to generate and analyze various reports
  • Ability to troubleshoot inventory and cycle counting discrepancies and resolve.
  • Knowledge and experience with Warehouse software
  • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with others in a goal-oriented manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Forklift experience/ certification a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL / PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: This position is in a warehouse production environment.  This position is exposed to the typical warehouse production environment that is described as follows:

 

May encounter loud noise, varying temperatures (including heat during summer and from the operation of equipment). May be exposed to cold temperatures during winter months due to the numerous dock doors open. The incumbent may encounter oil, grease, paint, solvents, and other potentially hazardous materials.  The incumbent may also encounter dust, fumes, flying debris, fast moving machinery (such as lift trucks, pickers etc.) and others, depending upon the nature of the tasks that are being conducted.
