Cybersecurity Sr Engineer DevOps

This is a remote position.

Cybersecurity Sr Software Engineer to work with Cybersecurity DevOps engineering team, IT Leadership, and business stakeholders as a Software Quality Assurance and Test engineer to design manual and automated regression tests for cyber security software solutions.. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and work well with management and staff. 

Core Duties Include: 

• Working with developers and stakeholder/business users to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features/releases. 
• Participate in business requirements and app design reviews to develop requirements and test plans. 
• Write User Stories for new features and bug fixes and clearly articulate replicable scenarios.
• Create requirements, test plans, procedures, automated tests and data.
• Plan UAT test cases and work with the with business for product rollouts
• Write functional, non-functional tests for multiple web applications and projects.
• Establish, modify, move and/or manage test data for various testing scenarios and systems using complex SQL. 
• Develop automated and manual test scripts that can be easily understood and executed by other test support team members.
• Compose detailed, actionable defect elimination plans. 
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve test issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Knowledge of QA, UI testing tools and processes for Unit, End-to-End, and Manual testing (Azure Test Plans, Micro Focus QC-ALM, Protractor, Jasmine, Jest, Karma, Angular CLI).
• Experience in development of automated and manual test scripts which can be easily understood and executed by other test support team members.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and database technologies (design and implementation).
• Ability to establish, modify, move and/or manage test data for various testing scenarios and systems. 
• Ability to determine required changes or additions to tests based on comments made in project meetings.
• Ability to manage priorities and workload.
• Working experience in an agile environment. (Azure DevOps, Agile Octane, Jira, Rally).
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization. 
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. 
• Technical fluency with MS SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Also desirable: Agile Project Management, Scrum Master, or Product Owner skills.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 
• 2 or more relevant technical/professional security certifications preferred
• 4-5 years of experience required
• Prefer 7 - 10 years in QA test design. 
• Healthcare system experience desirable.
