We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The role involves working on a variety of projects and developing solutions to further company objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cybersecurity services and solutions for diverse projects.
  • Conduct security control assessments and testing in accordance with NIST, FISMA, OMB, and other relevant standards.
  • Develop and execute security testing strategies, including requirement determination and resource management.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports and Security Authorization & Accreditation (SA&A) documents.
  • Collaboratively identify and evaluate cybersecurity risks across various teams and functions.
  • Continuously improve security protocols and offer advice to enhance overall security posture.
  • Perform security audits, risk evaluations, and penetration testing.
  • Contribute to proposal development with high-quality technical writing and cyber expertise.
  • Stay updated on emerging security trends, threats, and countermeasures.

Qualifications


  • Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or related.
  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related field (Bachelors or Masters)
  • 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and project management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Proven track record in obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance.
  • Skilled in developing and presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Experience in effective communication with C-level executives and senior management.
  • Strong technical writing abilities, notably in proposal support.
  • Proficient in various cybersecurity technologies and tools.
  • Capable of translating client needs into technical solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ACTIVE Public Trust Clearance

Experience with cloud security, network security, and endpoint protection.
