We are Seeking a candidate with systems/network engineering experience and strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and technologies to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Laboratory Technical Support Services (LTSS), Laboratory Network Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, and Technical Support to provide hands-on experience that is required for proof-of-concept exercises in a lab utilizing on-prem, cloud, and hybrid architectures.
- Experience with macro and micro network segmentation and micro-services to integrate with the FAA’s Zero Trust network implementation and other FAA Operational Environments. Architectural design/analysis is a plus.
- Analytical thinking to help develop, evaluate, and test the FAA’s approach in implementing Zero Trust technologies as they apply to each of the 4 Operational Environments.
- Evaluate different technologies and their integration with each other and with existing systems, considering different security enclave levels.
A U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math or Science is required with 15 years of relative experience. Previous FAA experience is a plus.
