Cybersecurity Engineer – Identity & Access
Location: Remote
Reports to: Security Engineering Manager
Job Overview:
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the company's security infrastructure. You will be working alongside team members to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our network infrastructure to protect sensitive customer data, secure company assets, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve identity and access management issues.
- Assist with improving identity and access management solutions to protect against evolving threats.
- Integrate various platforms with IAM, such as (but not limited to) Active Directory, Windows\Unix servers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with various IT and business teams to support their IAM requirements\needs.
- Identify, track, and report on key metrics.
- Develop, plan, and document IAM solutions, including the onboarding of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- 3+ years of experience focused in IAM
- Self-starter who is willing to take ownership and see projects through to completion
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIAM, etc.) are highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of handling IAM deployments\projects, performing security assessments, and assisting with incident response.
