Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Department: System Support
Reports To: Director of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure
Compensation: $80,000
TRS Classification: Non-Classified

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor Epic's environment, work with our existing tools, recommend new tools and solutions, participate in incident response, and continue to shape the district's Cybersecurity policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
Recommend and implement security measures
Investigate, document, and report security incidents
Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications
Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards related to cybersecurity
Data retention and recovery for enterprise systems
Maintain endpoint security and administer cloud filtering solutions
Work with third Party Security Vendors
Collaborate with other Technology staff to integrate security measures into the overall IT infrastructure
Communicate effectively with management and end-users regarding security issues and best practices
Keep systems and software up-to-date with the latest security patches via Manage Engine
Develop and implement patch management processes to address vulnerabilities promptly
Provide responsive and effective technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Google Workspace, SentinelOnce, Cloud Filtering, etc.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's Degree in a Technology field is preferred
3-5 years experience with System Administration or Google Administration
Knowledgeable of the following technologies or their equivalents:
Appliance and cloud-based content filtering
SentinelOne
Email Security
Google Administration
Sophos, Extreme, and Ubiquity Networking Hardware
Qualifications:
Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure proper integrations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to present effectively and persuasively.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to learn information systems quickly, work independently, and to be e?ective in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Extensive experience with core software applications,
Strong research abilities.

Mathematical Skills:
- Basic math and accounting skills required
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Google Suite with the ability to manage multiple computer screens.
- Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current driver's license and valid car insurance
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a state-mandated background check after a conditional offer of employment is made
