Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated software systems.
- Analyze user needs to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Debug and refine existing software, adding new features to enhance functionality.
- Recommend cutting-edge technologies and methodologies for complex software projects.
- Lead technical aspects of multiple software development teams.
- Choose appropriate software development processes in collaboration with the customer and system engineering teams.
- Guarantee the quality of developed and modified software.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in Software Engineering within similarly scoped, complex programs and contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Alternatively, four additional years of SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products such as Hbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
- At least six years of recent experience developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments.
- Six years of experience in developing software using Java, C
