Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus. Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Cyber Program Officer, MCCB (Grant Funded) on the Dahlonega campus. This full-time (1.0) position will work for the Executive Director of the University of North Georgia Institute for Cyber Operations and other staff to implement portions of the DoD Cyber Institute Grant focused on increasing the talent pipeline for the military and civilian DoD cyber workforce.

This position is Grant Funded. Responsibilities Identify opportunities, coordinate and monitor a range of activities related to the focus areas of the DoD Cyber Institute grant, including but not limited to outreach programs at the highschool level, development of mid-career/second career events, opportunities for veterans to develop knowledge and skills related to careers in cyber, and other events associated to the grant. Provide coordination for professional and continuing education opportunities in the region, working with the six Senior Military Colleges to build competency and skills in Cyber Mission Force work roles.

Assist with marketing of national and regional events and initiatives. Comply with all Federal and State laws and University regulations. Comply with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Integrity.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of cyber operations; experience in cyber operation preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead through collaborative decision making. Ability to solve problems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and maintains the highest ethical standards. Ability to work with diverse constituents. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal & written forms with diverse individuals in a professional setting and with all members of the university community, including students.

Analytical, organizational, project and time management skills. Apply critical thinking skills creatively to complex and undefined topics and challenges. Ability to work independently while exercising appropriate judgment in seeking assistance and guidance.

Ability to create and manage documents, databases, and spreadsheets in Word, Access, and Excel Ability to work effectively under pressure. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and sometimes competing priorities. Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships.

Ability to monitor multiple efforts accurately and to communicate effectively with a diverse audience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a business, cybersecurity or technical discipline. Applicants must be a current US Citizen, or permanent resident admitted to the U.S.

in order to qualify for this position. Three (3) years of program coordination and/or project coordination experience required. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience coordinating between government, educational and industry entities preferred.

Awareness of cybersecurity education programs (including K-12, collegiate and/or training) preferred. Experience making strategic decisions and giving broad direction to develop and implement concrete programs preferred. Aptitude and interest to work in a highly dynamic learning environment preferred.
