Advanced Assembly/Summit Colorado has an open position for a Customer Support Representative (Hybrid).
As a Customer Support Representative, you will be interacting with teams at the world’s top engineering companies daily. You will be hand in hand with your sales executive and the customers to facilitate full turn-key orders from order to ship. This is a fast-paced environment that requires extreme attention to detail. You will be responsible for providing outstanding Customer support to our clients, both internal and external and help make a difference in our customers experience with Advanced Assembly.
This is achieved through the verification, and data entry of order information; provide an introductory phone call/email to all customers; timely research, processing, and resolution of job holds and working within the Customer Support team and other departments to find appropriate solutions. In a typical day, you will find yourself helping procure components, managing parts shortages and substitutions but we will teach you the ropes, and put you in a position to succeed and build your career.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter sales orders.
- Conducts a welcome call to customers, communicating part exceptions or issues that arise during the purchasing and production process, verifying information entered and received, setting expectations regarding day 0, and communicating due dates.
- Manage turn-key orders: PCB fabrication + component procurement + PCB assembly.
- Search for parts across approved vendors.
- Manage order status, confirming accurate delivery, and working with vendors on price and lead-times.
- Liaison between component vendors, internal customers, and the end-customer regarding delays, missing/out-of-stock components, and part substitutions.
- Communicate across departments and the customer and sees orders through to completions.
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Provide an efficient and delightful customer experience.
- Reach out to each customer proactively once their job has shipped to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Skills:
- Proficient in professional oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to client interaction.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of customer service and/or account management experience
- PCB industry experience.
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to client satisfaction.

- Adaptable to fluid environments and comfortable with change.
- Experience with Salesforce.com.
Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.
Pay Range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 hour based on experience.
