ABOUT THE POSITION: As a Customer Support Representative at J.W. Speaker, you’ll be a customer service professional with a passion to drive results. You’ll primarily focus on giving our customers top notch reliable customer service with a smile!
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: You enjoy building relationships with internal and external customers, showcased by your 2-4 years of experience within a sales and/or customer service environment. Building that technical aptitude from a previous manufacturing environment, along with working with international customers, is a huge plus! You’re also an enthusiastic team player who enjoys working with others to achieve company goals. You’re detail-oriented, aren’t afraid to follow-up, and have experience using Office 365 software applications. Lastly, you’re the expert in communication, written and verbal.
You will PERFORM by:
- Providing first level support for customer technical requests and escalating as required
- Ordering samples for customers and reps, including requests in customer portal (once approved)
- Providing order entry support and documenting & sharing customer feedback in network database
- Routing leads and inquiries to sales managers and/or reps while handling inquiries when sales managers are unavailable
- Communicating pricing changes and product obsolescence
You will EXPLORE by:
- Working directly with customers to aid in specifying product, answering regulatory or application questions
- Directing customer correspondence to HubSpot CRM for resolution
- Maintaining all customer communication on all sites
- Supporting RMA claims processing in customer portal, engaging stakeholders when required, and closing loop disposition
You will INNOVATE by:
- Training customers on the use of the portal and identifying gaps
- Tracking and maintaining data on customer correspondence performance
- Introducing, educating, and supporting customers on executing B2B web-based ordering and maintenance
- Making product and process issues visible to NPD and Manufacturing Engineering as needed

Experience
