Patient Service Specialists

We are seeking a Patient Service Specialist for 32 hours a week to ensure that our patients have the best experience possible when visiting Dr. Caple’s office to maintain their beautiful smile. A Patient Service Specialist, specializes in creating optimal patient-checkin and checkout experience.

Patient Checkin Service Specialist Responsibilities

• Arrive at 7:45 each morning
• Greets Patients with a warm and friendly smile
• Confirm account information
• Answer patient calls, emails, texts, and questions, including emergency and new patients, scheduling, account, insurance eligibility and claim status
• Checks out patients with a warm and appreciative approach
• During checkout, files insurance, provides pre-treatment estimates, schedules upcoming appointments.
• Confirms operative and sedation appointments
• Maintains schedule
• Maintains the reception room

Patient Service Specialists Qualifications

• Hight school diploma or GED
• Some college or post-high school training or experience
• Customer service experience
• Exceptional phone and in-person communication skills
• Friendly and personable
• Punctual
• Reliable
• Attention to details
• Ethical and maintains patient confidentiality
• Team player
• Enjoys learning and self-improvement
• Stable previous work experience demonstrating longevity at previous jobs

Patient Service Specialists Work Schedule

• Monday - Thursday
• 7:45-12:45 and 1:45-5:15

Patient Service Specialists Compensation

• Salaried, Paid on the 1st and the 16th of the month

Interview Availability

• Interviews will be scheduled 1:00 p.m-1:30 and 5:15 p.m-5:45:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week
