Patient Service Specialists
We are seeking a Patient Service Specialist for 32 hours a week to ensure that our patients have the best experience possible when visiting Dr. Caple’s office to maintain their beautiful smile. A Patient Service Specialist, specializes in creating optimal patient-checkin and checkout experience.
Patient Checkin Service Specialist Responsibilities
- Arrive at 7:45 each morning
- Greets Patients with a warm and friendly smile
- Confirm account information
- Answer patient calls, emails, texts, and questions, including emergency and new patients, scheduling, account, insurance eligibility and claim status
- Checks out patients with a warm and appreciative approach
- During checkout, files insurance, provides pre-treatment estimates, schedules upcoming appointments.
- Confirms operative and sedation appointments
- Maintains schedule
- Maintains the reception room
Patient Service Specialists Qualifications
- Hight school diploma or GED
- Some college or post-high school training or experience
- Customer service experience
- Exceptional phone and in-person communication skills
- Friendly and personable
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Attention to details
- Ethical and maintains patient confidentiality
- Team player
- Enjoys learning and self-improvement
- Stable previous work experience demonstrating longevity at previous jobs
Patient Service Specialists Work Schedule
- Monday - Thursday
- 7:45-12:45 and 1:45-5:15
Patient Service Specialists Compensation
- Salaried, Paid on the 1st and the 16th of the month

Interview Availability
- Interviews will be scheduled 1:00 p.m-1:30 and 5:15 p.m-5:45:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
