As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our patient experience. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless, compassionate, and efficient interaction with our patients throughout their journey with us. Core Responsibilities:
- Patient Engagement: Initiate contact with new patients, verify insurance benefits, and coordinate with referring dentists to prepare for a comprehensive first visit.
- Appointment Coordination: Manage the scheduling, confirmation, and follow-up of appointments, demonstrating our commitment to patient convenience and care continuity.
- Patient Reception: Provide a warm and informative welcome to new patients, including office tours, to foster a comfortable and reassuring environment.
- Versatile Support: Exhibit adaptability by multitasking and providing comprehensive support across various office functions, including the submission of insurance claims and coordination of patient benefits. Additionally, contribute to the maintenance of a sterile and efficient clinical environment, offering assistance in clinical operations as required.
- Treatment Planning: Collaboratively work with patients and their families to outline treatment options, tailor payment solutions, and clarify the orthodontic process, reinforcing our patient-first philosophy.
- Data Integrity Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data and chart entries through careful auditing and verification. This key responsibility is essential for maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency by upholding precise patient records and supporting seamless treatment processes.
- Marketing and Community Outreach: Engage in marketing initiatives, build relationships with local dental professionals, and generate content for social media to enhance our presence and patient engagement within the community.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a Customer Service, sales, or dental front office role; experience within an orthodontic setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage tasks efficiently with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building meaningful relationships with clients or patients.
- A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Knowledge of social media management and marketing strategies is desirable.
