Central Market Flowers On Queen Customer Lead Shopkeeper
Hours: 40-43 hours weekly
Monday - Friday 9:30-6
Weekends and Holidays as needed

Join our team of floral enthusiasts! We're looking for a shopkeeper to offer exceptional Customer Service in our floral showroom in Lancaster City. You'll help shape the store and experiences that our customers enjoy so much. You'll be right in the middle of the city, connecting with tourists and locals alike. This role on our team is ideal for someone who is an outgoing creative spirit, a strong independent worker, has a passion for florals, houseplants, hand made arts and goods, loves the buzz of Lancaster City and has a heart or an eye for floral design (or is willing to learn!) Work with a team who's mission is to spread happiness with flowers!
Responsibilities:
● Contribute positively to the team and company by knowing, supporting, and promoting the company’s mission and values in daily work
● Open/close store
● Count down cash drawer each day and prepare deposits
● Greet and provide excellent service to customers, providing a memorable, personalized experience
● Assist customers to select products
● Efficiently check out customers, wrapping their items with care
● Follow guidelines and systems in place to keep store organized and stocked
● Maintain attractive, well stocked, clean displays
● Care for plants and fresh flowers
● Learn basics of fresh floral design in order to assist customers with the creative process and create bouquets
● Use team communication app to ensure smooth operations in your store and with other locations
● Create content for social media use to highlight your store’s products
● Help generate ideas for the promotion of your store and it’s products
● Improve efficiencies that result in best possible customer experience
● Take floral orders from customers and input into our ordering system
● Maintain flower pots outside of store
● Assist as needed with high-season fluctuations in workload in the various aspects of the business
Additional Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits:
● $15/hour
● Paid Training (Rate $14/hr for 1 month)

● Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for entire shift, and climb stairs frequently
● Background check
● Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
● Retail, merchandising, Customer Service experience preferred
