QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. Two-years of college preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responds to inquiries from Outside Sales staff concerning part numbers, availability of cable, lead times and price.
- Provides technical guidance related to products.
- Researches part numbers and order history.
- Prepares quotes & creates new customer accounts.
- Enters orders in Axiom.
- Reviews customer purchase orders.
- Investigates pricing discrepancies.
- Acknowledges orders and tracks customer orders to ensure delivery to customer.
- Follows back orders to completion and resolution.
- Investigates claims and prepares return authorizations.
- Completes blanket orders and line reductions.
- Completes all required documentation. Files documentation as appropriate.
- Prepares and submits weekly report.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Understands and incorporates practices related to the aspects of safety and good housekeeping.
- Is familiar with the TFC Quality and Environmental Policies and understands the impact of his/her job performance upon the quality of our products and the environment.
