Job Summary
The ideal Candidate will be responsible for providing excellent Customer Service. They will work closely with the sale representatives to assist in the sales process; from order entry to shipping and follow-up with the customer, providing phone support, customers ordering requests and all other office related duties.
Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and requests for information
- Enter orders that are received via phone, faxed and email
- Assist customers, sales representatives and buyers
- Provide shipping status and estimated ship dates to customers
- Process returns authorizations and replacements
- Suggestive selling of promotions to customers
- Contact customers for credit card and C.O.D. questions/information
- Monitor fill-rates of priority accounts
- Process new account applications
- Work closely with allocations & shipping departments
- Expedite urgent order, samples and catalog requests
- Transmit electronic acknowledgments, invoices and ASN’s daily
- Update customer portal as required by customer
- Monitor open order reports

Qualifications
- 2-3 years office experience, preferably in apparel industry
- High School Diploma required; two years of college education in business or a related field and/or Customer Service training highly a plus.
- Excellent detail, organization and follow-through skills.
- Excellent Customer Service Experience
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a preference, but not essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Experience with EDI, NuOders, Exenta
- Experience working with online accounts such as Amazon, Macys and Norstroms
- Experience working with international accounts is a plus
