Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of lighting technology, specifically powered by solar panels and other types of green energy sources. We are looking for a bright Customer Service Representative to join our client’s main operation in the city of Chatsworth CA
This is a traditional B2B Customer Service position. You will be responsible for taking calls and messages from your clients and updating them on the orders they have placed.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Processing and updating orders in the system
- Tracking orders through the fulfillment process, and verifying that the orders are completed.
- Help to resolve customer issues, and answer any questions they may have.
- Providing friendly service and building and maintaining customer loyalty
- Documenting every call, and sending the information to the Customer Service Manager
- Supporting the sales team with needed in providing order information.
- Resolving any customer issues that come up within the required period
- Taking messages for the members of the department when needed.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 9 am to 5 pm. Monday to Friday.
Please note: our client is looking for people that have specifically worked in Manufacturing before. They will not accept any candidate that is missing this experience.
This is what we are going to be looking for in your candidacy:
- You have at least 2+ years of Customer Service experience, in a manufacturing setting.
- You have great interpersonal and Customer Service skills
- You are used to dealing with a high volume of calls and/or emails daily
- You work well in teams; you communicate what you need clearly and concisely
- You document everything, and you keep track of small details.
