Customer Service Associate
A large distribution company in Vernon, CA, is looking for an organized, self-motivated professional with excellent communications skills to work in our California location.
Job Description:
Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Investigate and resolve customer needs, and communicates them to the sales department as well as the shipping/receiving department
- Promptly and accurately process multiple phone and inbound email orders
- Maintain Customer Service standards, policies and procedures for the department
- Communicates and deliver reports concerning orders to Executive Management on a consistent basis
- Process and follow through on 50 plus orders/day
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years Account Management experience preferred
- Sense of urgency
- Strong data processing skills
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Customer Service
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow-up on tasks, delegate duties and train subordinates on processes, product, services and company regulations
- Motivational, listening, problem-solving skills, tact and diplomacy when dealing with complex problems with internal departments (sales and procurement) and customers.
- Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to work M-F for full 8 hours
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
COMPENSATION:
$ 19.00-22.00 Hourly (based on experience and qualifications)
