Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for monitoring incoming and scheduled orders against available inventory & manufacturing.
Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):
- Route orders for various customers and schedule pickups with various freight companies.
- Maintain the daily shipping log by adjusting the summary of daily shipments and monitor all orders to ensure timely outbound shipments.
- Verify the weight and carton count on the Bills of Lading for truck shipments.
- Create Bills of Lading and process the Advanced Shipment Notice (ASN) for shipped orders.
- Process shipments by following all routing guides per customer.
- Review reports daily and maintain a high level of communication with the sales team regarding order issues and analysis of aged orders by running the Critical Item reports for potential backorders.
- Communicate high priority orders and hot containers to warehouse production department as needed.
- Resolve all order-related discrepancies and assist in vendor chargeback research.
- Respond to customers regarding various accounts via email and phone providing order status, cancellation, and/or revision requests.
- Notify all customers their shipments are ready via phone, email, or customer portal.
- Monitor and update all customer SOPs.
- Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years routing experience with 2 years of retailer DC routing experience required.
- Experience routing to big box stores; example: Walmart, Target, Costco.
- Experience interpreting routing guides for vendor compliance.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office including intermediate to advanced Excel and data management (sorting/V-look up and Pivot Tables).
- Excellent computer skills and experience working with a WMS system.
- Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team environment.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly with keen attention to detail and follow-up.
- Must be detail-oriented with an ability to work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under critical time frames and work on multiple assignments and complex and sensitive information.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
