The Position

We are looking for full time Customer Service Representatives for our Commercial Insurance Division.

The Customer Service Representative will perform the essential duties of this position, which include working closely with service team members and Producer in servicing a book of business. Works at the direction of the Producer and Commercial Lines Manager.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE:

  • Maintains, develops and grows client relationships, always delivering service excellences.
  • Strong work ethic to consistently exceed expectations and over-deliver on promises.
  • Service assigned clients, have knowledge of numerous carriers and have a close working relationship with the other service team members and producer.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information related to clients and carriers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Adhere to BHC Service Standards.
  • Handle phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Performs functions on EPIC Management System proficiently.
  • Processes, maintains, and prepares renewal accounts for marketing, placement, and delivery to producers or clients as directed.
  • Handles normal account service activity including endorsements, audits, invoicing, certificates of insurance, evidence of property, claims, etc.
  • Follow-up on activities and correspondence to insure the client’s needs are satisfied.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship and rapport with each insurance carrier to satisfy our clients’ needs and facilitate the processing of business.
  • Perform other tasks on projects as needed/assigned.
  • Continued education in insurance knowledge through agency approved courses or programs.

Requirements

  • Insurance experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent and prefer at least one year of experience in Property and Casualty Customer Service.
  • Arkansas or Non-Resident Agent’s Property & Casualty License
  • Demonstrates positive communication skills necessary to communicate with clients, carriers and prospects with respect and integrity.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in complex working environment accurately and efficiently.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred, basic working knowledge required. Knowledge of Power Point preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated.
  • Team player and task oriented.
