Job Description

The Customer Service Representative will act as a liaison for internal and external business partners to ensure our customers receive best in class Customer Service. The position will be responsible for a variety of customer transactions including customer order entry and management. This role will communicate with other departments and providers to research and resolve issues, identify and implement service solutions and monitor progress using internal reporting to identify areas to improve our service to our customers. This role will require the individual to embrace continuous improvement efforts and work to enhance knowledge in key service areas.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide professional Customer Service to internal and external partners in a timely manner while maintaining Jack Link’s core values. 
• Research customer inquiries and implement appropriate actions in a timely, positive and professional manner
• Support adherence to company policies through education, guidance and persistence  
• Ability to resolve problems effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues before they become problems
• Proactively provide resolutions to all concerns to maintain customer satisfaction
• Analyze existing Customer Service processes for improvements
• Effectively communicate with internal and external partners; written and verbal
• Possesses and intellectual curiosity
• Self-starter with the ability to apply critical thinking
• Ability to work in a high volume, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant work experience 
• SAP experience is preferred.  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. However; the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office.
