Customer Service Representative
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works within ERP system related to production scheduling, shipping, and other duties as assigned.
- Gain a full understanding of all customer products, vendors, and procedures.
- Respond and report on late deliveries and backordered items.
- Manages customer calls for release changes, shipping issues, quality concerns, and special requests.
- Coordinate all shipping activities including customer orders, tracking, and forecasting.
- Enter non-EDI releases into ERP system.
- Report BOM accuracy.
- Works in conjunction with scheduling and required to follow the scheduling process.
- Manage inventory for efficient flow of production.
- Assist with all physical inventory and cycle counts as assigned.
- Ensure accurate and timely shipments to all customers, providing excellent Customer Service.
- Responsible for daily shipping schedule planning and execution.
- Assigns daily schedule and tasks to warehouse/ shipping team members.
- Monitors customer concerns daily via interface portals.
- Drives continuous improvement efforts as it relates to the Plant warehouse and Customer Service.
- Primary customer contact including communication outside normal schedule business hours.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable Federal and State OSHA regulations along with maintaining ISO and IATF requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to interact within customer portals.
- Ability to have a full understanding of all customer products, vendors, and procedures.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
