Job Description
The Customer Service Representativewill be responsible to perform all duties associated with incoming parts sales orders, including identifying parts needed for customers, addressing technical questions and concerns, or any other duties assigned by the Parts Sales Representative Supervisor.
Our Customer Service Representatives earn a starting salary of $20.00 per hour. Our Day Shift hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Process all incoming parts sales orders received from dealers/customers, after evaluating and offering advice or suggestive selling
- Investigate and identify parts needed, using drawings, schematics, parts books, etc.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain proper information on parts, lead-times, pricing
- Use technical drawings, parts books, schematics, etc. to identify and quote parts to customers based on need
- Quote appropriate parts to dealers/customers using proper price structures in place, and based on quotes obtained from our procurement team
- Quote appropriate lead-times, working directly with production and shipping groups to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with Engineering any changes on equipment, to ensure accuracy of parts books for future use
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures through daily tasks
- Participate in cross-department teams and committees as needed and assigned
- Escalate requests to appropriate departments as needed
- Perform other duties as instructed

- High school diploma required – Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or marketing strongly desired, or at least two to three years of business and customer service experience
- Ability to work well with others, exercise sound judgement and solve problems
- Work independently and effectively manage workload under pressure, be resourceful, well-organized, meticulous, and accurate
- Ability to operate general office equipment, including telephone, computer, calculator, photocopier, and fax machine. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word and Excel
