We are looking for a part-time (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) customer-oriented service representative to assist a growing heavy equipment rental and sales company. Our Customer Service representative will act as a liaison for our General Manager/Owner, provide product/service information to customers, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. It is of utmost importance that they can multitask in a busy environment and maintain office organization through any work they do. We are looking for someone confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, maintain high customer satisfaction, and most importantly be able to multitask in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Scheduling reservations and coordinating rentals
- Preparing driver's schedules and customer routes
- Communication with employees, outside vendors, and customers
- Handling customer payments
- Inventory control and management
- Maintenance entries in company software
- Preparing invoices in company software
- Assisting General Manager with job related tasks
- Office organization, cleaning, and maintaining supplies
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook/Excel/Word
- Ability to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- High school degree

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
