Job Summary
Great Southern Homes seeks a Customer Service Field Representative for its Coastal Division operations to meet the demand for our homes in the Florence, South Carolina market.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in residential construction and Customer Service. Less experience will be strongly considered with a construction sciences background.
Overview
As a Customer Service Field Representative for GSH, you will responsible for managing all warranty in the field. You will also be responsible for scheduling appointments with homeowners and trades to get tickets completed.
Essential Functions
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work directly with Customer Service Office Admin and Division Warranty Manager
- Manages incoming requests to schedule appointments for assessments and work to be done
- Schedule all warranty appointments with homeowners and vendors
- Response time to any request is 24 hours
- Manages appointments on warranty calendar
- Follows up with customers and vendors prior to and during assessments and repairs
- Responsible for managing the scheduling of all warranty items between HO’s and vendor / subs for all warranty work on a daily basis
- Designated to schedule / manage / follow up on all warranty tickets / jobs from start to finish with all parties involved. All corresponding vendor tickets must be entered into the system no later than 48 hours after assessments are completed.
- Review all open tickets per weekly list for each rep for their territory
- Assess and determine which vendor / sub tickets need to be entered for various repairs based on the onsite inspection w/ the homeowner and any vendor / subs onsite as well
- Weekly review of open ticket list with Division Warranty Manager
- Alert Division Warranty Manager of any hot button homeowners or vendor issues so that the production team can assist w/ these concerns as needed

- Construction experience or general knowledge of construction
- Works well in team environment
- Good with customers
- Previous experience with Customer Service and relations
- Ability to communicate well with team members and customers
- Google platform knowledge
