- Reports to Service Manager in a call center/warehouse environment.
- This is an on site position, work from home is not available.
- Standard work shift: M-F 8 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with a 60 min. lunch period
- Some Over-time necessary on an “as needed” basis
Summary Objective: This position is a key element in creating a hub for our service business. There is critical interaction between the customer, our service technicians, our estimators, and our vendors. The right individual for this position will exhibit high energy, an engaging phone presence, be very organized, task efficient, a self-starter; with a high ambition to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones; interacting with the customer, service technicians, and vendors
- Entering customer, job, and estimate information into the computer system
- Initiating communication with customers, vendors, and service technicians to update current status reports, and to ensure the team remains on task.
- Assisting with the dispatch service calendar for service crews and estimator(s)
- Managing and ensuring the successful completion of service projects for our customers, and then communicating the status throughout each project.
- Summarizing job status in the computer system
- Invoicing of service calls and other projects
- Ordering material (once properly trained)
- Coordinating material deliveries to warehouse and job sites
- Various office administration tasks
- Rotational “on-call” phones and dispatch, after hours (nights and weekends)
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred
- Customer service experience (minimum 2 years)
- Exceptional communication is required
