As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, resolve any issues or concerns, and ensure their overall satisfaction. You will work closely with our service technicians, sales team, and other departments to coordinate service requests, answer product-related questions, and provide timely updates to customers.
This is an entry level position that will provide the right candidate with growth opportunities within the company.
Your primary responsibilities will include...
Engaging Customer Interaction | Greeting customers with a warm smile, understanding their needs, and providing expert guidance on marine products and services in person and over the phone.

- Product Knowledge | Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of our product range, including boats, boating accessories, safety gear, and maintenance essentials.
- Problem-Solving | Resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner; turning potential challenges into opportunities for customer satisfaction.
- Sales Support | Assisting customers with their purchases, offering suitable add-ons, and upselling complementary products to enhance their boating adventures.
- Order Processing | Efficiently managing order placements, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with our Service Team to ensure timely product arrivals.
- Merchandising Support | Contributing to visual merchandising efforts, ensuring our store displays are attractive and products & materials are well-stocked and organized.
- Team Collaboration | Collaborating with our enthusiastic team to create a harmonious and enjoyable work environment that celebrates success together.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for boating, with knowledge of marine products, accessories, and maintenance.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to engage with customers and provide clear instructions and guidance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with customers and create long-lasting relationships.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling you to navigate customer issues with tact and efficiency.
- A detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions, database and inventory management.
