HydroPro Solutions is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for an essential customer facing role located in Georgetown, TX. HydroPro Solutions is an expert provider of goods and services in the waterworks industry. Our portfolio of products includes a variety of metering and monitoring solutions, hardware and software driven, for the residential and commercial water industries. Not only does HydroPro Solutions provide quality products, our reputation for expert Service and partnerships with our customers is paramount.

The primary responsibilities for this role include processing incoming orders in a timely fashion from customers and field sales staff, answering phone calls and emails from said parties, fielding a variety of questions, and providing tailored solutions to best serve our customers. At time of hire, the ideal candidate should be experienced in handling detailed orders as well as being comfortable multi-tasking and developing relationships with customers and coworkers. This position requires regular email, phone, and Teams communication with customers, office staff, and field sales staff.

The successful candidate will live within a 30-minute radius of the Georgetown, TX area. This person will have the skills to ensure customers and our sales team are supported to the fullest. Experience in the utilities distribution industry, e.g. electric, gas, or water utilities, is a plus, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers via email and phone
  • Answering a low-medium volume of phone calls with a higher volume of emails
  • Ability to learn industry terminology and detailed product knowledge within in a reasonable amount of time
  • Support sales team by determining product requirements and responding to general inquiries
  • Process sales quotes and sales orders for customers and sales team with strong attention to detail
  • Review and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Research customer records to resolve more difficult customer inquiries and prepare professional written correspondence in response
  • Support the Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes for returned or warrantied products
  • Ability to generate and provide shipping quotes from carrier websites
  • Completes forms and reports as required by the company
  • Provide orientation and education for various types of products to customers. May also include instructions on replacing broken parts
  • Assist coworkers with support as necessary

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Power Point, and Word
  • Experience working in an ERP, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communications skills and professionalism
  • Minimum high school diploma/GED and equivalent experience of 3-7 years in an office environment
  • Experience in a utility distribution industry (e.g. electric utility, gas utility, etc) a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Desk work in a temperature-controlled office
  • Onsite work required. This position is not remote
  • Ability to conduct company business Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • No travel required
  • No weekends required
