We're looking for a Customer Retention Data Analyst responsible for identifying trends in our customers' spending habits to increase the effectiveness of the sales retention program.
This individual will be tasked with retrieving and analyzing customer data from BI and Access and preparing reports in Excel that will help our organization identify at-risk customers and take proactive steps to retain the account. Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely.

Responsibilities: Documents key metrics related to call activity using BI and Access and reports on metrics to analyze and identify trends. Prepares summary reports using Excel to highlight analysis and area progress to management.
Reviews sales-call cycle reports to target customers with missed sales calls, establishing and adhering to a consistent cycle. Tracks communications with customers, documenting key customer relationship management (CRM) information, including service issues customers may be experiencing. Coordinates work efforts with field sales and inside sales teams to increase effectiveness of sales/Customer Retention program.
Supports documentation of team processes Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 3 years of business analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong PC skills.
A proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI is essential. Access and SQL helpful. SAP experience preferred.
Good analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions. Able to recognize trends as they develop. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Resourceful and a creative problem solver. Results-oriented. Good communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate over the phone effectively and in a professional manner.
Ability to participate well in a team environment. Participative by nature, offering creative ideas for process improvement. Ability to self-start and work independently.
