Customer Onboarding Specialist

Overview:
Host Merchant Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Application and Client Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth and efficient client onboarding, application processing, and providing support for pricing inquiries. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing banking applications, monitoring billing, and collaborating with referral agents in processing applications for merchant services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in merchant services is essential.
• Expertise in client onboarding and implementation processes.
• Proficient in CRM practices.
• Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with sales teams, clients, and referral partners.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to sales teams for both new and existing client accounts, addressing technical issues, maintaining efficient application processes, and assisting with integration setups.
• Guide new clients through account setup, offering expert advice on Host Merchant Services products and services.
• Handle the submission and processing of new sales/merchant applications, including clarifying terms and conditions, summarizing agreements, and providing application instructions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal inquiries regarding products, pricing, and services.
• Efficiently manage the application pipeline, monitoring pending items and tracking application statuses.
• Prepare detailed monthly reports on application progress and partner activities.
• Support new business generation and assist in the onboarding process.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement in the application process, facilitating effective communication between sales teams and clients.
• Keep the Sales team and clients informed about product release dates and pricing updates.
