Customer Financial Services (CFS) is responsible for overall collection efforts using customer contacts, credit agencies, legal advisors, and financing groups. CFS has the primary responsibility for obtaining timely payments and communicating collection issues to Business Development, Product Service Lines (PSLs), and F&A. As a CFS member you will: Develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships while managing A/R collections from assigned customer portfolio; Review and recommend resolutions on difficult collection accounts to minimize the company's losses; Assist in credit investigation and evaluation, upon request from credit department; and Identify, record, and assist with customer disputes resolution.
Job Description
- Under direct supervision, generate cash from customer account receivables (A/R) in an effective and timely manner
- Develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships to effectively facilitate the collection process
- Identify and address early and late stage challenges/collection issues
- Provide routine level support to assigned accounts including organizing and maintaining data files related to customer A/R
- Identify and record customer disputes
Requirements
- Requires skills in spreadsheet, word processing softwareand SAP.
- Candidate needs to be very well organized and have excellent communication skills, in particular for direct contact with external customers.
- Undergraduate degree preferred, and/or equivalent combination of education and competency.
