Customer Experience & Digital Marketing Intern

Job Description
Bastian Solutions is seeking a Customer ExperienceDigital Marketing Intern for Summer 2024 to work in-office at their Headquarters in Carmel, Indiana.
As a Customer ExperienceDigital Marketing Intern, you will work in our marketing department to help manage our Customer Experience feedback programs, website management, SEO and other Digital Marketing efforts. This is a cross-functional opportunity to learn about both CX and Digital Marketing that will leverage your analytical skills, attention to detail, and desire to learn multiple platforms.
Job Functions

• Manage day-to-day activities within one or more our Bastian's customer feedback programs
• Leverage multiple data sources to gather and interpret feedback into actionable insights to drive improvements to the Customer Experience.
• Review current practices and procedures and identify recommendations for improvement.
• Help promote a customer-first mindset across the organization through sharing of customer feedback.
• Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Customer Experience including Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Desire to work with various data sources, flexibility to manage multiple projects at once and be willing to learn!
• Assist with website maintenance and SEO
• Help maintain data integrity, build dashboards and develop findings.
• Research industry best practices and new tools / resources to optimize the customer feedback and digital programs
• Work with the marketing partners and corporate communication team across the organization to build analytics dashboards that will drive progress forward and uncover areas to improve
• Conduct competitor SEO analysis and develop recommendations for improvement
• Work closely with the team on understanding and knowledge sharing data analytics as it relates to marketing and optimizing performance
• Generate meaningful insights that can be used across the business to effectively communicate and inform with data

Travel Requirements

• Less than 5% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)

Preferred Skills and Required Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelors degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics or Marketing
• Knowledge of translating raw data and turning it into actionable insights and recommendations
• Experience working with different levels of data across digital platforms
• Ability to manage differing priorities and expectations while maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
• Classwork or related experience in market research, data analytics, statistics, mathematics or a related field
• Interested in marketing with a strong desire to use data and analytics to make decisions
• Self-motivated, able to work independently on portions of projects
• Ability to clean and analyze data to uncover trends.
• Thorough knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• General understanding of Power BI preferred.
• Excellent project management skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Collaborative team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
