Hourly Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Role Overview
Eclipse Automation Southeast is seeking a Custodian/Shop Helper to join our growing Engineering Team in Rock Hill, SC. Reporting to the Service Shop Manager, the Custodian/Shop Helper will ensure safe and clean facilities and work areas by performing routine custodial and janitorial duties, and other maintenance work as required. The incumbent will work with supervisors and other custodial staff to deliver the Eclipse Vision and Eclipse Culture
The Custodian/Shop Helper job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Design and develop robotics control software programs specific to customers and project requirements based on standard Eclipse programming methods.
• Ensure all buildings are kept clean
• Empty and clean waste-baskets and trash containers
• Maintain supply inventory and stock supply closet as required
• Clean, disinfect, dust and wipe equipment, furniture, fixtures as needed
• Clean washroom facilities
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floor surfaces as needed
• Perform other duties as required
• Experience with use of overhead cranes, forklifts and scissor lifts
• Take scrap material and wooden pallets to the local landfill and recycling center
• Organize and Maintain Project related materials on the Shop Floor.
• Ensure shop floors are clean of dirt and debris
• Clean and maintain outside parking lot and break areas.
• Assist the Project Team during the Integration and Runoff Phase of Projects.
• Assist the Project Team during Tear down Phase.
• Load and Unload Trailers using the Company Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Pallet Jack.
• Assist and repair minor Building Maintenance items when required.
• Maintain stock and Inventory of Employee snack program

Project Execution:

• Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
• Ensure scheduled milestones are met
• Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met
• Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and or travel as required in varying timelines
• Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
• Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proven ability to learn
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• Experience with cleaning equipment, scrubbers and sweepers
