Custodian/Janitor

Integrity Behavioral Management is a mental health facility that offers outpatient services and residential drug rehab services. The residential program is a 28 bed facility that offers detox and a drug recovery program. We are seeking serious and mature candidates for our staff custodian. The job duties are as follows:

• Clean and Sanitize all areas of the building by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Cleans and Sanitize all areas in restroom, and re-stock supplies.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures, and harm to self or others.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
• Ability to work with or without little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Knowledge of English language
• Must be drug-free

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
