Custodian - Weekend Days (Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday 5:00am - 5:00pm )
The hourly wage for this position is $18.22 to $18.95 plus $1/hour shift dif.

This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility.
What you’ll do:
This position will be responsible for performing custodial duties throughout the VMS Plant including offices, manufacturing, packaging, blend, warehouses, parking lots, and grounds.
Essential Functions:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
- Work in clean rooms, warehouses, and production environments.
- Use a variety of cleaning utensils and equipment including floor scrubbers.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wiping down furniture walls and doors; scrubbing toilets; washing windows; sweeping and mopping floors; and emptying out trash cans.
- Perform high cleaning in a scissor lift as needed.
- Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies.
- Report supply needs to supervisor.
- Elevate sanitation needs to supervisor.
- Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the job.
- Ability to assist in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and orderly.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards.
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire; perform moderate physical activity which requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds; and perform work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
