Summary of Duties:

This position leads assigned personnel and performs custodial duties. The incumbent regularly assigns, instructs, and checks the work of others as well as maintaining custodial inventory, and conducting training. This position will also clean and sanitize restrooms, perform snow removal, and perform other custodial duties such as emptying waste baskets, cleaning floors, dusting, and cleaning furniture.

Required Qualifications:

• Physical ability to do required work and one year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.

• Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months or more in depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.

Monthly Salary: Range 37 | $3,454 - $4,174 (Step E - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
