We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations. - Develop and execute menus that reflect our culinary vision and meet the needs of our residents.
- Manage all aspects of food preparation, production, and presentation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures
- Manage staffing, work along side the kitchen staff, working shifts as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to create innovative dining experiences and special events
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and growth
- Participate in the weekend Manager on Duty program.
```Qualifications:```
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment, in an assisted living or nursing home setting
- Strong knowledge of food service management, including assisted living operations and kitchen management
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality, presentation, and taste
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to create menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising a culinary team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
