Third Space celebrates the craft of cooking and gathering at the table. Our professional kitchen is equipped to host cooking classes, private & team-building events.

We are currently looking for experienced and dynamic Culinary Assistants to join our team. A good fit is someone who can work independently, teach culinary skills using simple and easy to understand words and techniques and who can own a room. Successful candidates deliver a blend of story, entertainment and culinary knowledge in everything they do with customers.

You may be called upon to leverage your expertise to assist with a public cooking class, private event or team-building event for companies ranging from small to Fortune 500.

Duties:
- Ensure class and event success by anticipating the instructor and participant needs
- Maintain a professional appearance and convey a passion for food
- Assist with cooking activities, finding ingredients and hosting people in our space
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Open and close as needed and organize the support team.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a culinary role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Classes are often taught on nights and weekends. Corporate and private events are delivered based on calendar availability.
