Cuisineur (Cook)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a swing cook. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our kitchen both during our breakfast and dinner shifts. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with stock rotation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

-Execute cooking procedures based on written recipes requiring preparation from raw ingredients.

Requirements:

-Have previous experience working in a time-sensitive atmosphere
- Previous experience in the food industry is required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

-Visually inspect all food before being sent from the kitchen
