CST Supervisor

Position Summary: The CST Supervisor oversees the workload of, provides management for, and provides clinical training for the Licensed, Qualified, Associate, and Para-Professionals in the Community Support Team program.

Entry Requirements:

• Currently licensed by the appropriate North Carolina licensure board as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWA, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFTA, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, LCMHCA, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Psychological Associate OR
• Has a master’s degree in a human services field plus one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served OR
• Is a substance abuse professional who has one year of full-time, post-graduate degree and accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitates supervision to ensure appropriateness of services, professional development, core competencies, status of authorizations, verification of service hours and dates, completion of necessary paperwork, review and monitoring of caseloads, performance reviews, etc.
• Reviews case information and assigns new cases to staff.
• Monitors caseloads to make certain services are being delivered as authorized by the funding source.
• Reviews and audits documentation (service notes) by staff in accordance with funding sources and company standards; provides feedback to staff as applicable.
• Manages NCTOPPS compliance, discharge summary reports, incident reports, etc.
• Works closely with Medical Records to ensure records management compliance.
• Maintains positive relationships with staff, stakeholders, etc.
• Manages the utilization process. Reviews the clinical documentation and submits the information to the funding sources for authorization of services.
• Sets goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the agency’s plans and vision.
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports for the CEO; prepares monthly reports for MCO.
• Works closely with the COO and CEO to make sure daily administrative and clinical functions are being executed as directed.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
