Overview:
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance with their insurance needs. You will be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional Customer Service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Welcome clients and visitors to the insurance office with a professional and courteous demeanor. Manage the reception area, including answering incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member, and ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
- Client Assistance: Assist clients with basic inquiries regarding insurance policies, coverage details, billing inquiries, and claims procedures. Provide accurate information and direct clients to the appropriate insurance agent or Customer Service Representative for further assistance as needed.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments for clients to meet with insurance agents or advisors. Coordinate meeting times based on client availability and agent schedules. Notify agents and clients of appointment details and any necessary documentation or preparations.
- Document Management: Maintain organized records of client appointments, inquiries, and other relevant information. Update client contact information, policy details, and notes in the insurance agency's database or CRM system. Assist with scanning, filing, and organizing insurance documents as needed.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to insurance agents, brokers, and office staff as required. Assist with tasks such as data entry, photocopying, faxing, and distributing mail. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Client Relations: Build positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional Customer Service and addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally. Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients seeking assistance or information related to their insurance policies.
- Insurance Product Knowledge: Develop a basic understanding of insurance products, including auto, home, life, and health insurance. Stay informed about policy features, coverage options, and industry regulations to better assist clients with their insurance-related inquiries
