Summary
IAero Airways is seeking a highly dedicated Crew Scheduler to manage the schedules of pilots and flight attendants in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies, make daily schedule adjustments for pilots and flight attendants and ensure that each crew member is compliant with all flight and duty time limits.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The Crew Scheduler performs the following essential functions:
- The Crew Scheduler reports directly to the Manager of Crew Resources.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate crew coverage of all positions to staff every flight.
- Ensures Crewmembers assigned to all flights are both current and qualified and meet all company policies as well as the Federal Aviation Regulation duty & rest time regulations.
- Monitors flights throughout assigned shift to ensure duty time limitations are not exceeded.
- Manage operational disruptions and solve them in a proactive manner.
- Provide reporting on daily schedules and department status.
- Ensure effective utilization of crewmembers.
- Demonstrate expected behavior as well as the ability to remain calm and even-tempered during stressful situations. Maintain a “customer friendly” attitude when communicating with Crewmembers and other Company personnel.
- Completion of daily shift checklists.
- Interface with other departments to adequately plan and coordinate assignments for crewmembers for all flights.
- Ensure crewmember placement for all flights.
- Book, monitor and cancel travel, hotels and ground transportation based on company needs, while monitoring and mitigating travel costs.
- Additional duties may be assigned based on departmental need.
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task using all company software including Blue One or equivalent crew management system (Sabre / Jeppesen)
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, FOS, etc.)
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and work well under pressure
- Exceptional time management skills: ability to meet deadlines, multitask and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have ability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The schedule is 4 days on 3 days off and overtime eligible.
- Strong customer service focus and great team player.
- High school diploma required.
- Prior Airline or aviation experience highly preferred.
- Prior Customer Service Experience preferred.
- Coursework in Aviation, Business or Operations highly desired.

10 Hour Shifts: 4on- 3off, Must have flexible schedule, Shifts assigned by Department Manager, weekends/ holidays as required.
