Position Title:Crew Member Lead
Location: Inland Empire, California
Pay Rate: Starting at $20 per hour and up, based upon your experience.
Position Overview: Crew Member Lead is a Full-Time position and requires hands-on build experience and supervision of a small crew. Other duties include prioritizing projects, assigning work tasks, using equipment, maintaining records, monitoring work quality and work schedules, ensuring crew safety, and training new crew members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform basic warehouse operations and take part in basic building projects.
- Safely operate various vehicles such as forklifts, stake beds, shop trucks, and box trucks.
- Maintain equipment and inventory of supplies.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Reports to Warehouse Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Must have previous Lead or Supervisory experience of at least 5 Crew members
- Execute and supervise assignments and delegate and prioritize tasks to crew members.
- Delegate and prioritize tasks to crew members.
- Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, train new Crew Members
- Lead by example and guide crew members.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; review policies and practices as required to maintain compliance.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Preferred experience but not required in HVAC, welding, carpentry, electrical, and/or mechanics
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to travel as required
Education & Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of prior crew member experience, in HVAC, welding, carpentry, electrical and/or mechanics preferred, or an equivalent combination of both education and work experience
- Prior supervisory experience a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum high School diploma
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, keyboard, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, see, talk and hear.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Frequently lift and/or carry items or materials that typically weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Perform work in indoor as well as outdoor work environments.

- This is primarily a warehouse classification. Temperature conditions are controlled with limited direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
