Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a contribution motivated Credit Manager to join the Credit department. This person will provide best-in-class credit services to our portfolio of business partners, will explore areas of automation and implementation across ERP's, will improve reporting capabilities, and will be a respectful steward of the Koch and KES risk philosophy as it impacts customers and counterparties.
Ideal candidate will be contribution motivated and have financial statement analysis and interpretation experience, ample critical thinking skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. This position is located at KES HQ in Wichita, KS.
What You Will Do
- Conduct credit reviews for entities in a wide variety of geographical locations and industries, evaluating creditworthiness, customer health and assigning credit parameters.
- Review and discern daily blocked order requests, communicating effectively and respectfully when evaluating exposure risk and recommending action plans.
- Manage and maintain existing credit limit assessments, and work on implementing automation around routine credit rating changes.
- Design and implement processes and/or automation in data and credit portfolio management.
- Continuously seek opportunities for advancement of processes, innovation, and system optimization.
- Build reporting based on industry, country, portfolio risk and other credit-driven needs.
- Navigate and be a proficient user of all ERP systems as well as comfortably work with large sets of data and data analysis.
- Provide timely Credit assistance and responses (email, phone, Teams) and build collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners (Credit team, Sales, Project Managers, Collections, Invoicing team, etc.).
- Complete and provide analysis of internal credit rating model using customer's financial statements.
- Prioritize and display time-management and organizational skills.
- Exemplify the tenets of Koch's Principle Based Management™.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in B2B credit management.
- Developed understanding of credit management, exposure risk, and customer relationships.
- Ability to learn and navigate in multiple ERP's and software systems to complete functions of the job.
- Experience collaborating with all levels of an organization and communicating in various forms (written and verbal).
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (VLOOKUP's, calculations, etc.).
- Experience with Data Analytics, Automation, and Workflow technologies, such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, PowerBI, PowerApps, and Power Automate, etc.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience reading and interpreting financial statements.
- Certifications in Credit (such as CBA, CBF, CICP, etc.).
- Experience collaborating with international customers and counterparties.
- Experience in LN, GetPaid software, and/or Bloomberg terminal.
