What You’ll Be Doing

The Credit Card Specialist at Bank Iowa will oversee all daily activities, responsibilities, and operations associated with the bank’s Credit Card program. They will assist in the implementation of the Credit Card program and with the development of Credit Card related policies and procedures, including policies related to transaction processing, evaluation of applications for credit, cardholder rewards or loyalty programs, or other aspects of the Credit Card program. This role will ensure the organization’s Credit Card business supports overall business strategy. Will work cross-functionally with operations and regional teams to seamlessly provide quality service with regard to internal and external clients.

  • Manage daily operations including and relating to card ordering, processing, program database, inventory, re-issues, pin ordering, disputes cases, fraud, and all other related card activities.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Credit Card account maintenance.
  • Responsible for the setup, onboarding, maintenance, research and escalated client support for the Credit Card program.
  • Reviews, rejects or accepts bank card applications and supports bank card goals for the financial institution.

Credit Card Specialists are generally scheduled to work between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, hours can be flexible depending on need. Internal candidates located in one of our branch locations may be considered.

Requirements:

Skills/Experience You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a financial institution.
  • Credit Card processing work experience is a plus.
  • Ideal candidates will also possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail and have demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and proficiently.
